Liquor cabinet in solid Quercy Oak and Cherry..

The body of the piece, with its austere mastered lines, of human nature, confronts Nature itself, free of constraints and rules, almost fractal. 

The cabinet is assembled in hand cut mitered dovetails and loose-tenons. The Cherry doors have an Oak core for stability. Handles in Cocobolo The piston drawer, with its sculpted handle is assembled in hand cut half-blind dovetails. Frame and panels back. Precision solid brass hardware. Finished with oil, natural wax, French polish and stained varnish.

This piece was selected among the top 25 in the World category of the Maker of the Year 2023 contest (Wood Review, Australia), and selected for the Ateliers d’Art de France contest.
